This fabulous house in Clifford, Herefordshire was featured on Grand Designs in November 2023. Built on old reservoir that supplied water to steam locomotives on the Great Western Railway in times gone past, this new build benefits from solar power installed by Solarkinetics.
The 5.55kWp solar system comprised 15 x 370Wp REC Alpha modules. These powerful and sleek-looking black panels have a black frame with a black backsheet. A SolarEdge 3.68kW HD Ware single phase inverter was installed to take the DC current from the solar panels and convert to AC power for use in the home.
