At the heart of what we do is a personalised service, designing and installing solar systems that are right for each and every customer.

Our honest approach means we don’t overstate power output or understate payback times. By staying up-to-date with technological developments and undertaking training we can provide the best advice. The products we use are top quality, and our installations are carried out to the highest standard by our own technicians.

As an Certified Installer for both REC and Meyer Burger, we are recognised for our expertise on their products. That expertise is maintained by regular refresher courses and in the case of REC, Solarkinetics clients have an extra five year warranty on the existing 20 year guarantee.

For a number of years we have been accredited as Advanced Installers by inverter manufactures – SolarEdge, Fronius and SMA. We maintain this accolade by keeping our knowledge up-to-date through online courses and webinars. For more information on these manufacturers, click on the logo to the right.

We think we provide a great service from start to finish, but we understand you might want some independent opinions! We were one of the first companies to be accepted as a ‘Which?’ Trusted Trader.

This scheme, launched in 2014, gives prospective customers the reassurance that by choosing Solarkinetics for their installation they are choosing a company given the seal of approval from a leading consumer organisation in the UK.

The rigorous approval process involves office visits, scrutiny of the running of the company and taking up of several references from existing Solarkinetics customers chosen at random from our records by ‘Which?’ We also adhere to a complaints resolution policy in line with that recommended by ‘Which?’

As a small company, we are aware that we can’t employ all the expertise we need in-house, but our approach is to build close relationships with other organisations that share our values and with whom we can develop our service to our mutual benefit.

Our main wholesale supplier is a Herefordshire company – Wind & Sun Ltd. They have been in business since 1984 and were responsible for the very first grid connected solar pv system in the UK. Since then, they have gone from strength to strength, recently completing the wind and solar solutions delivered in the ‘Small Isles’ of the Inner Hebrides and enabling the island of Eigg to become almost entirely self sufficient energy-wise with their combined off grid wind and solar generators. Their expertise has helped us in some of our more technically challenging projects.
